Member Emeritus is bestowed by the Board of Directors upon certain individuals (not a company) who have contributed to the VESA organization and the development of standards. These individuals are not employed by a member company. This type of membership is intended to recognize individuals for their significant contribution to VESA in the development of industry standards. Member Emeritus has only been awarded to five individuals in VESA’s 33 year history. Those individuals are:
